Romeo Santos’ ‘Centavito’ Hits No. 1 on Latin Airplay Chart

As Romeo Santos’ “Centavito” hits No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart (dated Dec. 1), he scores his 15th leader on the tally. With the achievement, he breaks out of a four-way tie he previously held with Carlos Vives, Shakira and Wisin for the third-most No. 1s on the list. He now stands alone with the third most, trailing only Enrique Iglesias with 30 and Ricky Martin with 17.

“Centavito” leaps 4-1 thanks to a 24 percent gain in audience impressions (to 13.41 million) in the week ending Nov. 24, according to Nielsen Music.

The sixth single from his album Golden, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart in August 2017, “Centavito” is Santos’ second chart-topper of the year. He previously led the chart for one week when “Sobredosis,” featuring Ozuna, landed atop the July 21-dated list.
